Privacy Overview

Pickleball Score Stacker (also referred to as "PBScoreApp," and referred to herein as the "App") is developed by GMZ Crossover Design. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy describes how PBScoreApp handles information when you use our Apple Watch application.

Healthkit

PBScoreApp requests access to Apple's HealthKit only to start a workout session that keeps your screen active during play. Without this, watchOS would dim the screen or return to the watch face mid-game. You may see Apple's permission screen describe this as the ability to "update your health data" — that is Apple's standard system wording for this category of access, not a description of what the app actually does. This is a technical requirement of watchOS, not a data-collection feature. No workout, health, or fitness data is ever saved, recorded, or shared as a result of this connection. The app does not read your existing Health data, and does not write any data to the Health app.

Data Collection

Beyond the HealthKit session described above, PBScoreApp does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. We do not collect:

• Personal identification information (name, email, address)
• Location data
• Device identifiers
• Usage analytics or diagnostics
• Crash reports shared with the developer
• Any information that could be used to identify you

Data Storage

All game data — including scores, player initials, game history, and settings — is stored locally on your Apple Watch only. This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to any server, third party, or developer.

Third Parties

PBScoreApp does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. No data is shared with any third party for any purpose.

Children's Privacy

PBScoreApp does not collect any data from any user, including children under the age of 13.

Changes to This Policy

If our data practices change in a future version of the app, this policy will be updated and the revised date will be reflected above. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

About This App

PBScoreApp is a casual scoring and refereeing aid for pickleball — not an official scoring system. It is designed to assist players and referees during play. It does not constitute an authoritative record of any match and is not a substitute for the judgment of the players, referees, or officials present on court. All calls, scores, and rulings made during play remain the sole responsibility of the players and officiating parties involved, not the app.

Not for Competitive or Cash Use

PBScoreApp is not intended or warranted for use in officiating sanctioned tournaments, leagues, or matches involving monetary stakes. Use of the app in such contexts is done entirely at the user's own risk and outside its intended and supported purpose.

No Warranty

PBScoreApp is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, GMZ Crossover Design and its affiliates disclaim all liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including disputed match outcomes or other loss — arising from or related to use of the app.

Apple's Standard License

In addition to these Terms, use of this app is subject to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement, which applies by default to all apps distributed through the App Store. It covers license scope and platform-level terms not addressed here. Read Apple's Standard EULA →
